Our passion is to see students achieve the best that is possible, inspired by great teaching and great leaders. Cardinal Newman School has an exciting opportunity for a new Curriculum Leader of Maths who shares this passion.

This post is central to the leadership and management of the whole school and will therefore be offered on the leadership scale. The successful candidate will contribute to the whole school vision for curriculum, teaching and learning and be a member of the school strategy groups, contributing to setting the direction and vision for the school.

Cardinal Newman School is an 11-19 comprehensive school with Specialist Science Status, serving the Roman Catholic community in Luton and Dunstable. We are one of the most successful schools in Luton and have a thriving 6th form with 300 students. We have been consistently described by Ofsted as a ‘good’ school and under Section 48 as an ‘outstanding Catholic school’.

We are looking for a highly motivated and inspiring Curriculum Leader to enthuse and engage a team of excellent teachers, build upon the high standards already achieved and continue the growth and development of the faculty. Support Staff Vacancies

Cover Assistant - L4 (37 hours/week Term time + 5 training days)

Required as soon as possible, a Cover Assistant who will take the classes of absent teachers, escort students on trips and visits, carry out invigilation duties and assist with adminstrative tasks.   Full details about this role can be found in the job description.  Applications can be made either via the Luton Borough Council website, or by completing and returning the application form that can be dowloaded from the school website.
