Family Worker

Hi,

I would like to introduce myself to you as the Family Support Worker for Cardinal Newman School.

I am Nicki Brown and I have worked at Newman for over 10 years in behaviour support which enables me to offer support to parents and carers of Newman students, as well as to the students themselves.

My main aim is to add value to the already excellent team in supporting and empowering our families facing challenges which could potentially have an impact on our children’s learning, eg bereavement, family break up, financial issues, drug/alcohol dependency.  In addition to this, I will be providing opportunities for parents/families to become more involved in their children’s learning and the school community.

I can be contacted on 01582 587575
