Thursday 13th November 2025 – Newman Sixth Form Open Evening

On Thursday 13th November we warmly invite all current Year 11 students and their parents/carers who are interested in attending Cardinal Newman Sixth Form, to our open evening.

The evening will give you the opportunity to see and hear about our thriving Sixth Form and explore the fantastic range of academic and vocational subjects that we offer for ages 16-18. Our Sixth Formers will share what it is like to be a part of the Cardinal Newman community and how every student is provided with a wealth of opportunities that allow them to excel.

It is our belief that we must love our children and make sure that they are loved, and it is this ethos that runs throughout everything we do in the Sixth Form; our students know they are special and have a hope for their future. This summer, results at Cardinal Newman were excellent with the average grade at a B- for A Level and Distinction* for vocational courses. Incredibly, a quarter of all grades were A*-A which meant that students progressed onto highly regarded Universities such as Cambridge, Durham, Imperial, Warwick and Loughborough all rated in the top 10 nationally. Many of our students secured Level 7 Degree Apprenticeships at top industries, owing to our fantastic careers programme that runs throughout Year 12 and 13.

What is it – Cardinal Newman Sixth Form Evening for 2025 Intakes.

Who is it for – Parents and Carers of current Year 11 students, along with current Year 11 internal and external students.

When – Thursday 13th November, there will be three time slots available for a talk in the Hall – 5pm or 7pm for internals, and 6pm for externals only.
