Elective Curriculum
The Elective Curriculum
Guided by our motto, “Learning towards our Lord, through Learning, Love and Faith,” our elective curriculum helps pupils to grow in knowledge (Learning), develop compassion and respect for others (Love), and deepen their moral and spiritual understanding (Faith).
As St John Henry Newman wrote, “Knowledge is one thing, virtue is another.” This programme embodies that vision by going beyond academic success to develop virtue, resilience and a sense of purpose. Through enrichment, leadership and service opportunities, pupils discover their talents, raise their aspirations and learn how to use their gifts in service of others. This prepares them not only for further education, but for life—forming confident, compassionate and faith-filled individuals who live out Gospel values in the modern world.
