Health & Social Care
This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
John 15:12
curriculum intent |
Health and social care encompasses a range of key elements which prepare students for the sociological and physiological demands of life, ensuring they leave Cardinal Newman as independent, effective members of society. This includes communication skills and an understanding of physical and mental health issues. It also gives those who wish to enter a career in the sector an idea of the range of opportunities that are available for them through work experience placements in a healthcare setting.
